状況をなるべく正確にお伝えすることが肝要かと思い、少し長くなりますが、よろしくお願いいたします。
Mac（OSX 10.6.3)でTeXShopを使用したく、TeXShop(2.33)をダウンロードし、以下のように環境設定を行いました。

設定プロファイル→pTeX(Shift Jis)
内部設定:
（pdf)TeX→/Applications/pTeX.app/teTex/bin
LaTeX (デフォルト: simpdftex latex→dotexshop

ためしに、以下のファイルを実行したところ、無事Pdfが生成されました。

そこで、オフィスから持ち帰ったフォルダ（texファイルや、epfファイルも含まれているものです）内のtexファイルをダブるクリックすると、途中でファイル名の入力あるいはリターンを押すよう求めてきます。リターンキーを押してそのまま勧めますと、以下のようなwarningがでて、pdfファイルが作成されません。
なお、texファイル名は2009、三つのepsファイルはaa,bb,ccとなっています。

オフィスではOSX Tigerを用いていますが、これまで奥村先生の『美文書作成入門』に基づき、問題なくTeXShopを使用してきました。

はじめまして。

奥村先生の『LaTex2ε美文書作成入門　第４版』についているCDでwindouw　Vistaにインストールしたのですが、文書をwinshellで作成して、platexボタンを押すと、『platex.exeは動作を停止しました』と出てしまい、開くことができません。

環境設定やwinshellの設定は何度か確認しましたが、問題ありません。インストールも2度ほどし直してみましたが、やはり動作しません。

どのような原因が考えられますか？？

表を作成しており、そのうちのいくつかの列の文字数が多いのでtabularxを使用しておりました。行が増えてきたのでページを跨がせようと思い、longtableにしたら、tabularxでは受け付けてくれた幅指定や、列指定のXが受け付けてもらえなくなりました。どうすれば、ページを跨ぎ、かつ、列幅を自由に制御できるでしょうか。よろしくお願いします。

「LaTeX 小説同人誌制作術」をつい先程入稿しました。

Vine Linux での便利設定、
文庫サイズや A4・2段組での縦書き小説を
書くためのレイアウト調整や書式のコマンド。
さらに同人誌印刷所に入稿するためのデータ変換方法など、
私が今まで溜めてきたノウハウを詰め込んでいます。

最初の頒布は来週のサンシャインクリエイションですが、
今後各種イベントにて頒布します。

また、今回書店委託も予定しています。

秋葉や新宿に店舗があり、通販もやっている所です。

複数行の数式環境中でのすべての数式のセンタリングをし、数式番号を1つだけつけるにはどのようにしたらいいでしょうか？


のようになり式番号を行の中央に表示させたいです。（gatherとaligned環境を組み合わせた表示）

beamerbasercs.sty ファイルの中身は
のぞいてみましたが，どこが悪いのか，
検討もつかず，こちらで質問させていただきました．

Latex で color package を使って、

のようなものを作って xdvi で見ても色が付きません（黒い字で出ます）。dvipdfmx で pdf にして見ると赤、青の色が付いているのですが。使っているのは

OS: ubuntu Linux (10.04)
xdvik: version 22.84.13 j1.34

です。ファイルブラウザーから直接ファイルを開いて xdvi を起動しても、コマンド "xdvi (ファイル名)" で起動しても同じです。また、ネットで検索すると "-usecolor" というオプションをつける、という方法もあったそうですが、バージョンが違うのか「Unrecognized option `-usecolor'」というエラーが出ます。

原因をご教示頂ければ幸いです。

ptexliveのBabel対応ですが，昨年は本業のほうでばたばたしており対応が遅れてしまい申し訳ありません。
ptexlive-2009についてはできるだけ早く対応できるようにしたいと思っています。

今回は北川さんに作成いただいた6babel.shスクリプトをもとにテストしてみました。
北川さん，ありがとうございます。
手順としては，

（1）ptexliveコンパイル時に北川さんご提供のeptex-100201.tar.bz2所収の6babel.shを実行し，その後make install
（2）$TEXMF/ptex/platex/configのなかにあるhyphen.cfgをリネームか削除
（3）フォーマットファイルの（再）作成（例えば fmtutil(-sys) --byfmt platex）

e-pTeXは以下からダウンロード出来ます。

$TEXMFはデフォルトでは/usr/local/texlive/p2009/texmf/...のような感じだと思います。


とりあえず，新しいhyph-utf8システムを使って旧来の7ビットコードのソースをコンパイルすることは可能のようです。ただしhyph-utf8そのものがまだかなり未完成（現時点で正式対応しているハイフネーションファイルは2割程度）なので，細かい不具合はあるかも知れません。

ひとまず永田先生のヨハネ伝サンプルファイルを使ってテストしてみました。

確認したい文字列を\showhyphens{ }で囲むとlogファイルにハイフネーションの動作状況を書き出してくれます。

念のために確認しておきます：『［改訂版］LaTeX2e 美文書作成入門』第3刷 のことは　［改訂第３版］のことでしょうか。であれば、ご質問いたします：

いま、［改訂第３版］に添付のCD-ROMで　windows 7（home）へ Latex を入れようとしていますが、どうも本ソフトはOSに対応していないという意味の提示で門前払いされています。どうすればよいでしょう。

（１）　cidfmapをvistaで開く方法をお教え下さい。

　　　コマンドプロンプトtypeコマンドで開いてみましたが上記の[step4]の内容と異な　　　　　ります。

(2) cidfmapの編集はテキストファイルとして編集するのですか。

（勿論， Use Windows TrueType fonts for Chinese,Japanese and Korean

の項目にはチェックを入れました。）
