と入力してタイプセットすると，ひとつめのブレースのbの下に余計な空白が出てきてしまいます．つまり，bがブレースの下端に出力されません．

aがブレースの上端に来ているのと同様に，bもブレースの下端に来るように出力したいのですが，どのようにしたらいいでしょうか．

mi+TeX Tools foe miで

奥村先生の本のTeXとHigh Sierra用のパッチをあてたのですが、mi+TeX Tools for miで次のエラーが出てPDFファイルが生成できません。

dvipdfmx:warning: Could not locate a virtual/physical font for TFM "rml".

dvipdfmx:warning: >> This font is mapped to a physical font "HiraginoSerif-W3.ttc".

dvipdfmx:warning: >> Please check if kpathsea library can find this font: HiraginoSerif-W3.ttc

Output file removed.


同じファイルをTeX Shopでコンパイルすると問題なく動いています。
ご教示のほど、よろしくお願いいたします。

ソースデータが作れません。

どうしてもソースデータを自分で作ることができません。

texに詳しい方がおられましたら、どのようにすればよいか教えていただけませんでしょうか。

min10の“§”で始まる章題の不揃いは知られた現象？

質問というわけではないのですが、情報交換のつもりで書き込んでみます。

下記ソースを処理すると、４つの章題の水平位置が揃いません。
プリアンブルで使っている三つの要素（\noindent ，“§”，\ybaselineshift）の
どれか一つでも外して無効にすれば水平位置が揃うようになります。

試した環境は「TeX を使ってみよう」です。

あれこれ調べて、原因は pTeX で標準に使われる min10.tfm で、
“§”の前後に入る JFMグル― だと分かりました。
マクロレベルでは問題はなさそうなので、はじめは原因がよく分からず、
乙部厳己さんの「min10 フォントについて」（min10.pdf）を読み直して
ようやく納得しました。

調べるのに難儀したので、これは知られた現象なのかと気になりました。

昨今は min10 はあまり使われないようですし、
この現象に出くわすための条件は、
min10 の全角文字の“§”に \ybaselineshift と、
なかなかきつそうには思うのですが、
どなたか同じ現象に遭遇した方はいないでしょうか。

簡単なファイルがコンパイルしない

以下のTeXファイルがコンパイルしてくれません。
発表題名、authorなどが表示するはずなのですが。
どこが間違っているのか、教えてください。
なお、私は改訂第５版LATEX2e美文書作成入門のCDをwindows8.1のPCにインストールして使っています。

Texliveのインストールに失敗する

こんにちは．

現在windows10を使用しています．
w32texの環境で作業をしていたのですが，texliveをインストールする必要が出てきました．
そこで，w32texのフォルダを削除して，texliveのインストーラからインストールを試みたのですが，

のようなエラーが出てインストールに失敗します．
言われている通り，何度も実行したり，コマンドプロンプトからinstall-tl-windows.bat --profile installation.profileを実行したりしたのですが，結局インストールに失敗してしまいます．

どなたか解決策をご存知の方はいらっしゃらないでしょうか．
色んな方法を試してもインストールが同様に失敗してしまうので非常に困っています．

出版の件について

私は、奥村教授の「美文書作成入門」付属の DVD-ROM から LaTeX2e をmac にインストールして使っています。
それを使って、今回、高校数学の参考書らしきものを作って、出版を考えています。
その際、まず、LaTeX2e を使って作った著作の出版に何か問題はないでしょうか。
また、LaTeX2e を使ってこんなことができるということを知って欲しくて、表紙に ¥LaTeX2e を表示しています。これも問題ないかお尋ねします。
初めてのことで不安ですので、よろしく御願いします。

ltjsarticleで\endcsnameが無いと言われる

複数のtexファイルをまとめてincludeするために次のようなコマンドを定義して使っています：

uplatex + jsarticleやlualatex + articleだとうまくいくのですが，lualatex + ltjsarticleだとエラーになります．

pLaTeX2e / upLaTeX2e 2018/03/09

TeX Live 2018 pretest 向けの最初のバージョンです。
・pLaTeX2e <2018/03/09> (based on LaTeX2e <2017-04-15>)
・pLaTeX2e <2018/03/09u02> (based on LaTeX2e <2017-04-15>)

✔︎ tabular 環境の JFM グルー対策の改良
✔︎ これに付随した \removejfmglue 命令の追加

がメインです。（どちらも e-pTeX 180226 以降の \lastnodesubtype プリミティブが必須）

\removejfmglue は「既に挿入されてしまった最後の JFM メトリック由来グルーを削除する」機能を提供します。
参考までに，pTeX プリミティブである \inhibitglue は「これから実行されようとする JFM 由来グルー/カーン
挿入ルーチンに入るのを抑制する」ものですから，これとは違います。

ユーザ向けに関係する話ではありませんが，フォーマットファイルの作り方が変わっています。

従来：
> pLaTeX … platex.ltx の中で plcore.ltx を \input し，
> その plcore.ltx の中でさらに pldefs.ltx を \input する
> upLaTeX … uplatex.ltx の中で uplcore.ltx を \input し，
> その uplcore.ltx の中でさらに upldefs.ltx を \input する
今回：
> pLaTeX … platex.ltx の中で plcore.ltx と pldefs.ltx を \input する
> upLaTeX … uplatex.ltx の中でまず plcore.ltx を \input し，
> 続けて uplcore.ltx と upldefs.ltx を \input する

したがって，今後は upLaTeX が更新されなくても pLaTeX が更新されればフォーマット再作成が必要です。
（TeX Live 2018 pretest には自動再作成を起こすトリガーを入れています。）
