texlive manager fail to update

Windows 10 proでtexlive 2021で
TeX Live Manager
を管理者として実行しました。
リポジトリを読込むとtmlgrをupdateとありましたので、
実行すると

となり、updateできませんでした。
update-tlmgr-latest.exe
を実行すると、 フォルダをきかれますが、
どこを選んでも、 OKにはならず、Installボタンが選択できません。
ウィルスバスターで保護されているフォルダーです。
リアルタイムスキャンを止めてもupdateできません。
以前は、この状態でもupdateできたのですが、
何が邪魔をしてるのか、ヒントを頂けませんでしょうか。

タイプセットが出来なくなりました

上のような非常に単純なコードでも以下のようなエラーが出るようになり, 一切タイプセットが出来なくなってしまいました。

このエラーが出るようになった経緯をご説明いたします。

環境はwindows8.1, w32tex, VSCodeでpdfを作成しています。
普段は職場のNASサーバ上で作業をしています。
pngファイルなどを貼り付ける際, コマンドプロンプトからuplatex -shell-escape と実行すれば問題なくコンパイルが出来るが, VSCodeからは同じコマンドでもコンパイルができませんでした。
職場の同僚にこのことを相談したところ, NASの作業フォルダをPATHに登録すると変わるかもしれない, とアドバイスを受け, substコマンドを利用して, Q:に作業フォルダを割り当て, 環境変数を登録しました。

結果解決はしなかったので, もとに戻したのですが, そこから前述したようなエラーが発生するようになってしまいました。

環境変数の余計なところまでいじってしまったと思い, ほぼ同じ環境を構築している同僚のパソコンの環境変数を見させてもらいましたが, 間違っておらず, 関係ないと思いながらもTeXの再インストールも試しましたが変わらず, 投稿した次第です。

現在のPATH設定は以下の通りです。

TeXworksの補完が起動しない

Windows10に、TeX Live 2020をネットワークインストーラーからインストールを行いました。
TeXworksはタイプセットからPDFのプレビューまで動作を確認できましたが、TeXworksのタブキーによる補完が起動しません（単にタブ幅だけカーソルが移動する）。

[ヘルプ]→[設定の管理]では
設定ファイルの場所
設定ファイル C:/Users/（ユーザー名）/.texlive2020/texmf-config/texworks/TUG/TeXworks.ini
データ格納先 C:/Users/（ユーザー名）/.texlive2020/texmf-config/texworks/
となっており、どちらも存在しています。
C:/Users/（ユーザー名）/.texlive2020/texmf-config/texworks/
には、completionフォルダとtw-basic等のファイルが確認でき、
C:/Users/（ユーザー名）/.texlive2020/texmf-config/texworks/TUG/TeXworks.ini
には、
autocompleteEnabled=true
の記述も確認できました。

試しに、別マシンのWindows7に、TeX Live 2020をisoイメージからインストールを行いましたが、やはりTeXworksでの補完がタブキーで起動しません。

restricted mode がデフォルトで、その除外リストが shell_escape_commands
ですよね…。

tlmgr（あるいはTL同梱のwget）のエラー？

以前のtlmgrができないというスレッドで，「私のところではwgetのエラーはない」とレポートして
いたのですが，今日tlmgrをかけたら発現しました（時刻は1013JST，1031JST，1051JSTの3回）．
＃前回かけた時（5月9日）は異常なく更新できたのですが

環境は次のとおりです：
Mac mini (Late 2014)
macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina)
install-tlからuniversal-darwinをフルインストール（4月29日）
（新規にOSをクリーンインストールしたところにインストールしたので，以前のTeXシステムはなし）

リポジトリは北陸先端大（main），山形大，KDDIを明示的に設定しています．

以下，ターミナルの記録です：

「unrecognized option '--no-check-certificate'」とありましたので，
/usr/local/texlive/2021/tlpkg/installer/wget/wget.universal-darwin --help
でヘルプを見ると，そのようなオプションは記載がありません．

tlmgrで更新できない時は時間をおいてリトライするというのは常道だと思いますが，もしかすると
tlmgrがwgetを呼び出す際のオプション指定にミスがあるかもしれず，これが影響しているのかも
しれないと思い報告させていただきました．

Windows10のAtom上でコードを実行できない

Windows10、Atom1.57.0、TeXLive2021という環境で行っています。
Atomのpackageは
latex,latexer,language-latex,japanese-menuです。

packageのlatexの設定は
TeX Path
C:\texlive\2021\bin\win32

Engine
platex

Opener
pdf-view

となっています。

以下実際のコードです。
\documentclass{jarticle}
\begin{document}
sampletext
\end{document}
以上です。

Ctrl+Alt+Bを押す、package>LaTeX>buildを押す、のどちらでも添付した画像のようなエラーが出ます。

コードに問題があるのかと思い、sampletextの部分を他の単語にしたり、日本語で記述したりしましたが解決しませんでした。ネット上に上がっていたコードをコピペしても同様のエラーが出たのでコードの問題ではないと思います。

エラーメッセージを検索するとパスに問題があるというようなものが見つかったので、Windowsの設定の環境変数とAtomのlatexに入力したものを確認しましたが問題はなさそうです。

何かわかる方教えてください。お願いします。

見出しと番号の付いた箇条書き

enumerate環境では番号を，description環境では見出しを付けられますが，番号と見出し両方を付けるためのパッケージなどはないでしょうか？
下のような表示が簡単にできればよいので，他に良い方法があればそれでも問題ありません．
ご存知の方おられましたらご教示ください．お願い致します．

TeXstudioのコマンドが勝手に初期に戻る

OSはWindows10Home 64ビットです。
TeXWikiを参考にW32TeXとTeXstudio3.1.1をつい最近インストールしました。
TeXstudioで正常にビルドと表示ができるようになったため、キーボードショートカットをカスタマイズしようと思い、

の方法を行いました。
しかし、しばらくすると設定のメニュータブ（コマンドを登録するところ）が完全に初期状態に戻ってしまいました。
その後リセットされる条件を調べるために何度か試したところ、コマンドの登録（変更）→TeXstudio再起動→設定を立ち上げてOKをクリックして設定画面を閉じる（キャンセルで閉じるとこの現象は起こりませんでした）
これを行うと設定のメニュータブが初期状態に戻ってしまうようでした。
設定内の他の項目はリセットされません。

どうすれば解決できるでしょうか？

Japanese Latex templete

IEEE English version can compile and run successfully but I can't run the Japanese Latex templete.when i compile that time show the error message (! LaTeX Error: This file needs format `pLaTeX2e' but this is `LaTeX2e'.)
How can I solve this problem any suggestion ?

TeX Live 2021 Windows 版同梱の pdf2dsc が動かない

TeX Live 2021 Windows 版に同梱されている ghostscript 一式の中の pdf2dsc に不具合があるようなので報告します。この影響で、AUCTeX の preview-latex が動かなくなっています。TeX Live のメールリストアーカイブをざっと眺めた限りでは出ていない話題のようです。

1. TeX Live 2021
任意の pdf（ここでは、texmf-dist/doc/amstex/amstinst.pdf を使ってみますが pdf の選択にはよらないと思います）を、書き込み権限のある適当なディレクトリにコピーして、pdf2dsc を実行すると次のようなエラーになります。指定した dsc ファイル（この例では xyz.dsc）は作られません。

私以外にも「エラーになる」という報告があるので、私の個人的な環境に起因する問題ではないと思います。

2. ghostscript.com 公式
Ghostscript そのものの問題ではない感じです。https://www.ghostscript.com/download/gsdnld.html から AGPL ライセンス windows 64bit 版をダウンロード・インストールし、path を c:\program files\gs\gs9.54.0\bin と c:\program files\gs\gs9.54.0\lib が先頭に来るように調節して試すと問題ありません。上記の例を実行すると何の文句もなく実行され、xyz.dsc が作られます。

3. TeX Live 2020
TeX Live 2020 同梱版でも問題はありません。再び path を調節し、C:\texlive\2020\bin\win32 が先頭に来る状態で試すとやはり正常に終了します。

4. TeX Live 2021 更新版
tlmgr で tlgs.win32 を現時点の最新版に更新してみましたが、ghostscript のバージョンが 9.54.0 に上がっただけで、エラーは解消しませんでした。
