現在MacOSX 10.6 snow leopard を使用しているのですが、TeXShopでヘブライ語の文章を作成したいのですが、どのようなソフトが必要かや、インストール方法などが全くわかりません・・・。 どなたかご存知のかたがいらっしゃいましたらお知恵をおかし願えますと大変助かります・・・。

このコードを入れて、xetexで翻訳する方向で行きたいのですが、見本のこのコードはタイプセット可能なのに、同じものをコピペして自分のソフトでタイプセットしようとしてもできないのです・・・。その方法さえわかればなんとかなると思うのですが・・・。恐らく設定で何かエラーがあってできないきがしますが、自分ではどこを直したらよいのか全くわかりません・・・。よろしくお願いいたします。

環境 Mac OS X 10.6.8 TeXLive2011

TeXShopのタイプセットの右側にあるところをXeLaTeXにしてタイプセットをクリックすれば添付ファイルのように実行されました．

コピーしたとき，バックスラッシュであるべきところが円マークになっていましたのでそれを元に戻す修正を加えました．

setromanfontをsetmainfontと勘違いしていませんか?

添付してくださったファイルが見本のPDFとしてあるのですが、
ファイル名を変えて自分のTeXShopでタイプセットしようとすると、
XeLaTeXにしてタイプセットすると下記のようなエラーが表示されます。

環境設定のタイプセットをplatex2eから何か他のに帰る必要はないように思うのですが、そこらへんもわかりません。

TeXLive2010で実行してみましたが，成功しました．
普段pTeXを使っているとエンコードがシフトJISになっていることがありますが，UTF-8にしていますか?

確認のために成功したTeXファイルを添付します．

MacTeX 2011をインストールして、その中に入っているTeXShopを使って添付されたtest.texは無事にタイプセットできたのですが、
その中にヘブル文字を打ち込んで（{}のなかに）見たのですが、うまくいきませんでした。

気がついたのは、タイプセットするときに作成される(file名).synctex.gzというファイルがあるのですが、それが失敗するときは必ず(file名).synctex.gz(busy)というファイルになっていることです。これは何か関係があるでしょうか？

UTF-8への設定は間違っていないはずです。

OSは10.6.6です。アップデートの必要はあるでしょうか？

Hebrewに入力をきりかえてヘブル文字を打ち込んでみましたが，うまくpdfファイルができました．ヘブル文字の入力はうまくできていますか?


(file名).synctex.gz(busy)はタイプセットできなかったときできるものです．

環境設定のエンコーディングがUnicode(UTF-8)になっていれば，エンコードは問題ないはずです．

test.texをタイプセットするのは成功しているので、恐らくソフト面ではうまくタイプセットできているのかもしれません。しかし、自分でヘブル文字を入力してタイプセットすると(file名).synctex.gz(busy)がでるので、ヘブル文字の入力に失敗しているのかもしれません。

言語でヘブライ語を選択して、直接ヘブル文字を入力すると上記のようになってしまうのですが、Macの場合他になにか必要な入力の手順というのは存在するのでしょうか？

アラブ語とヘブライ語のカッコと中身を消して、日本語だけのカッコにするとうまく行きます。（他の日本語を入力してもうまく行きます。）ひょっとして、ヘブル語のフォントが埋め込まれていないとかそういうことでしょうか？

ヘブライ語を自分で足そうとしたり、ヘブル語の{¥H ישדשישדםשדדמשם}などを入力しようとすると、失敗します。

エラーメッセージを見る限り，ソースファイル中の記述が
l.41 ...s: this is Arabic text: {\A \UTF{0627}\UTF
{0644}\UTF{0633}\UTF{0644}...
のごとく \UTF コマンドによる表記に変換されてしまっているようですが，
その機能（TeXShop には otf パッケージ対応の機能があるそうですね）を
切ったうえで試してみてはいかがでしょう？

無事解決致しました。

しかし、できるようになったものの、なぜか日本語ShiftJISモードでうまくいってるんです。（UTF-8ではなくて・・・。

utf対応機能をオフにするとたしかにできるようになりました。
