AUCTeX https://texwiki.texjp.org/?AUCTeX の開発に首を突っ込んでいる者です。preview-latex の機能のために、color パッケージと preview パッケージと dvips の絡んだ問題について困っていることがあるのですが、解決法がお分かりになる方がいらしたら教えてください。

初めまして。
本を作成するため、amsbookのクラスで試行中です。
以下の問題についてアドバイス頂ければうれしいです。

【目標】このような揃えた目次の作成

Contents
  I. Overview of Multivariate Analysis
II. Single Regression Analysis
III. Multiple Regression Analysis
IV. Logistic Regression Analysis
  V. Discriminant Analysis
VI. Principle Component Analysis

のように、目次で、６つの章の番号をローマ字で出力します。

Windows10環境下でtexlive2018をインストールして、pdfLateXでコンパイルしています。

\renewcommand{\thechapter}{\Roman{chapter}}
\renewcommand{\chaptername}{}
を使って、ローマ字にはできましたが、出力は

Contents
I. Overview of Multivariate Analysis
II. Single Regression Analysis
III. Multiple Regression Analysis
IV. Logistic Regression Analysis
V. Discriminant Analysis
VI. Principle Component Analysis

となり、左揃えになるため、各章のタイトルが不揃い
になってしまいます。
目標のように、（章のタイトルを揃えたいので、ローマ字は右揃えにしたい）
揃えるにはどうすればいいでしょうか。

TeXのパッケージはTeXLive2019，

いつもお世話になっております。

auricalフォントを使用したく思っております。aurical.pdfの説明を見ながらインストールを試みました。

aurical_texmf.zipを解凍したaurical_texmfをC:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist内に置きました。


C:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\tex\generic\pstricks\config\dvips.cfg
にaurical.mapをを加筆しました。
そしてpdftex.cfgファイルが見当たらないので
C:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\doc\generic\pgf\version-for-pdftex\pgfmanual-pdftex.cfg
にaurical.mapをを加筆しました。

そして,texhashを実行しました。

そして,

>updmap-sys -enable aurical.map
'updmap-sys' は、内部コマンドまたは外部コマンド、
操作可能なプログラムまたはバッチ ファイルとして認識されていません。

となってしまいました。


もちろん,下記test0.texを実行してもフォントはローマン体のままでした。

何が間違ってるのでしょうか?

みなさま初めまして．プログラムリスト用にタイプライタフォントをinconsolataにするinconsolata.styを常用しているのですが，MacTeXを2019にしたところ閉じ中括弧('}')がダブルクォート('"')として出力されるようになってしまいました．pdflatexとlatex+dvipdfmxのどちらでも再現されます．みなさまのところではいかがでしょうか．

TeX Live2019をWindowsPCに導入したいのですが，インストール中にインストール失敗の旨が表示されてうまくいきません．

環境：Windows 10 Pro バージョン1809

試してみたが駄目だった手段：
１，ウイルスソフト関連
ウイルスソフトが原因とある記事が多かったのでウイルスバスターのオートスキャンを切ってみましたが解決しませんでした．

２，インストール手段
isoイメージ，ネットワークインストーラー(exeファイル)，zipファイル全て試しましたがうまくいきません．

３，管理者権限
管理者権限なし？(ダブルクリックでインストール開始)も，管理者権限で実行も試しましたが結果は変わりませんでした．

４，unpackage→install
exeファイルでのインストールの場合，直接installもunpackageしてからbatファイルの実行も試しましたが同じでした．

以上エラーメッセージ

エラーが表示されるのは決まってインストール中ですが，タイミングはまちまちで，20ファイル？ほどインストールされたタイミングの場合もありますが，
1100ファイル？以上インストールされてからの場合もありました．


表示されるエラーメッセージが，検索でヒットするものとは違い，
原因も違うのではないかと思っています．
検索でヒットするのは，１行目後半が「No error at」ではなく「No such files」など．


手がかりが少なく申し訳ありませんがご教授いただきたく投稿させていただきます．

frcursiveフォントのインストールがうまくいきません。

にてfrcursive.zipをダウンロードし解凍しました。

READMEを見てみると
Installation
------------
To install frcursive, you need to copy the files in appropriate places so that
TeX and Metafont can find them.

Installation by hand goes like this, assuming TEXMF is the base directory of
you TeX installation (that would be /usr/share/texmf, C:\localtexmf, or
something like that):
- copy the files from the "latex" directory into TEXMF/tex/latex/frcursive/
- copy the files from the "mf" directory into TEXMF/fonts/source/public/frcursive/
To use the Adobe Type 1 versions,
- copy the files from the "type1" directory into TEXMF/fonts/type1/public/frcursive/
- copy the files from the "tfm" directory into TEXMF/fonts/tfm/public/frcursive/
- copy "frcursive.map" into TEXMF/fonts/map/dvips/frcursive/
- make sure the TEXMF/web2c/updmap.cfg contains the line
MixedMap frcursive.map
You may have to update TeX's databases by running "texhash" or "mktexlsr".

となってまして,コマンドプロンプトでsetコマンドを実行しましたがTEXMFのパスは表示されませんでした。
そしてlocaltexmfフォルダが見当たらないので
TEXMFはC:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\tex\latexかと推測しまして,
C:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\tex\latex内にfrcursiveフォルダを作成してに解凍されたフォルダからlatexフォルダをこのfrcursiveフォルダにコピーして,
C:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\fonts\source\public内にfrcursiveフォルダを作成してに解凍されたフォルダからmfフォルダをこのfrcursiveフォルダにコピーして,
C:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\fonts\type1\public内にfrcursiveフォルダを作成してに解凍されたフォルダからtype1フォルダをこのfrcursiveフォルダにコピーして,
C:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\fonts\tfm\public内にfrcursiveフォルダを作成してに解凍されたフォルダからtfmフォルダをこのfrcursiveフォルダにコピーして,
C:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\fonts\map\dvips内にfrcursiveフォルダを作成してに解凍されたフォルダからfrcursive.mapをこのfrcursiveフォルダにコピーして,
C:\w32tex\share\texmf-dist\web2c内のupdmap.cfg内にMixedMap frcursive.mapを加筆しました。
そして最後に
