hoge 語の案について，早速ギリシア語以外を試しました．
結果は，おっしゃるように acute と grave を指定した場合に，
ArabTeX がエラーを出します．
dieresis「"」，tilde「~」，circumflex「^」では問題ありませんでした．
(circumflex では地の文の所で $ で囲めという警告が出ましたが，当然ですね．)

★ acute「'」の場合のエラー
