latex.jpg と latex.bb があるのに no Bounding Box とは不思議ですね。
tex ソースの log ファイルを見れば何か情報は出ていないでしょうか。
念のため，ソース全体と latex.bb (実態はテキストファイルです)の中身を
示していただけますか？ 例えば latex.bb の中身は以下のようなものです。

当方で latex.bb 無しの状態で，以下をタイプセットしたのですが...

エラーの内容が違って(latex.bb が無い)います。
