5. に書いてあることは無視したほうが良いです。
4. に書いてあることは要するに  c:\gs\gs7.04\lib に PATH を通せと
   いうことです。5. に書いてあることに従うより、c:\gs\gs7.04\bin
   にも PATH を通したほうが良いと思います。

なお 4. に書いてあるのは Windows NT/2000/XP の場合で、
Windows 9X では autoexec.bat に記述します。
