最近パソコンがくたびれてきたので私だけの現象かもしれませんが，この簡単なソースで

\documentclass{article}
\begin{document}
hoge
\end{document}

以下のエラーとなりタイプセットできません。
角藤さんの最新の W32TeX で 2009/11/28 までの更新分までインストールしてあります。
OS は Windows2000 SP4 です。

C:\home\tony>platex hoge

(Fatal format file error; I'm stymied)
