回答いただき有難う御座いました。
ちょうど>>44891にて解決報告を記入中に回答頂いた為、返信が遅れました。

回答頂いた手順を、以前の環境にて試したところ同様のエラーが出ました。
またログを見たところ「listings.sty    2004/10/17 1.3b (Carsten Heinz)」の記述も見られました。

折角回答頂いたのですが、新しい環境にて動作しましたのでそちらを使用していこうと思います。
有難う御座いました。

ftp://tug.ctan.org/pub/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/listings.zipをDL
listings.zipを解凍してできたlistingsフォルダに移動
latex listings-1.3.ins　を実行してできたstyファイルを
c:/usr/local/share/texmf/tex/latex/listings/　へコピー
mktexlsr　を実行
そして指示頂いた下記のソースにてコンパイルした結果を次に示します。
