Perlサンプルのタイプセットについて（MacOSXv10.4)

下記のex1.texファイルをタイプセットするのに

ターミナルのコマンドではex1.texにパスを通しておいて
sudo /usr/local/teTeX/bin/platex -sh ex1.tex
とすると、ex1.dviというファイルができるので、
sudo /usr/local/teTeX/bin/dvipdfmx ex1.dvi
とするとPDFに変換されます。
しかし、私のtexファイルは授業プリント用、宿題用、テスト用など複数のフォルダで
管理されています。いちいちパスを通してコマンドを打つのは大変なので
TeXShopで処理したいのですが、上記のサンプルをTeXShopでタイプセットすると
ex1.aux,ex1.log,temp.plというファイルは作成されますが
PDFファイルまで作成されません。
TeXShopで最後まで処理する方法がありましたらご伝授ください。
