algorithm2e.sty を日本語環境で使いたい

はじめまして，vega と申します．

Algorithm というパッケージを日本語環境で使おうと思い，
% platex jtest.tex 
とコンパイルしたら，以下のようなエラーを出力しました．
Runaway argument?
{\renewcommand {\a@block }[2]{\a@group {####1}} \algocf@defaults@common \ETC.
! File ended while scanning use of \@argdef.

jarticleでなく，articleにし，
% latex test.tex 
とした場合は，問題なく通るのですが，日本語環境ではむずかしいのでしょうか？
