article.cls で \section 見出しを変更(再)

  以前 "article.cls で \section 見出しを変更" という題で質問させて頂いた
Smoker です.

で目的の結果が得られたのですが, この場合
1.　Section
と, "1." と "Section" の間が全角スペースになってしまいます. このスペースを
半角スペースにするには何処を変更すれば良いのでしょうか?
