jsclassesのmentukeオプション

私だけの問題なのかどうか分かりませんが、

\documentclass[mentuke]{jsbook}
\begin{document}
\chapter{hoge} I love hoge.
\end{document}
のようなファイルでもエラーがでます。

\@bannertoken\@empty  --消化--> \@bannertoken
でエラーが出ます。
\@bannertoken\relax  --消化--> \@bannertoken{}
でなければならないという事でしょうか。
