pictex.tex の \fiverm . でつまずいています．

mac os10.2 で桐木さんの ptex(sjis)+dvipdfm をインストールし，mi2.1.0 で
TEX を使っております．ところが，和文と少々の数式はきちんとプレビューまで
出来るのですが，pictex.tex を利用しようとすると，その中の "\fiverm ." 
を認識してくれません．どうすれば良いのか分かりません．
どなたか助けて頂けないでしょうか？
