\indexentry{\@}{1} \indexentry{"@}{2} なるidxファイルをmakeindex(ver.2.13)で処理します， makeindexのmanをみると これら二つはともにエスケープされて 同じ索引項目が得られると思えるのですが 実際は， \item @, 2 \item \, 1%%%%正しい？ と処理されてしまいます． これは正しい動作なのでしょうか？ %%%%% \item @, 1,2%%%これを期待したいのですが・・ %%%%% なお，mendex(ver.2.4f)で処理すると結果は異なり， \indexentry{\@}{1}で Warning: Illegal null field in test.idx, line 1....done.(1 entry accepted.) となり， \item @, 2 のみがでてきます．
