それまでは順調に動いていたTeXが 文字化けを起こすようになりました。 具体的には、数式中のギリシャ文字 \rho が \lambda へ \pi が \rho へ 化けます。 これでは仕事になりません。 最初はDVI画面上では正常に見えて、 印刷するときだけ文字化けがおきましたので、 プリンターを疑いましたが、そうではなさそうです。 そこで、奥村晴彦先生の美文書作成入門 （第２版第５刷、平成１４年１２月２５日）を買ってきて ＣＤから再インストールしました。 全部入れ替えた方が手っ取り早いと考えたからです。 もちろん、前回の WnShell は削除してからインストールしました。 （前回は同書第２版第２刷が入っていた）。 すると今度は DVI画面上でも同様の文字化けが起き、 事態はかえって悪くなりました。 インストールチェックもしてみました。 [3. testtex.bat 実行中の画面表示に注意しましょう。] は特に異常に気が付きませんでした。 [4. testtex.dvi と testtexj.dvi を dviout で表示します] は日本語文字も数式も正常に見えます。 ただし、この中には文字化けを起こすギリシャ文字が 入っていませんのでそれ以上はわかりません。 [5. testtex.txt をチェックします。] 以下のようになっています。 シロートですので、 私としては色々チェックするよりも、不具合が生じたら 最初から入れ直すほうが楽なのですが。 奥村先生の本のＣＤに、ボタン一つで前のファイルが 完全にアンインストールできるような仕組みができないものでしょうか。 このようなトラブルに費やす時間を考えば、 本の値段は２倍になっても購入しますよ。 For more information about these matters, see the files named COPYING and the TeX source.
