確かにこちらでも変化しました。
{\footnotesize
\begin{tabular}{cc}
asd & 123
\end{tabular}
}
ではなく、
{\footnotesize
\begin{table}
\begin{tabular}{cc}
asd & 123
\end{tabular}
\end{table}
}
としていたので、これが原因だったのでしょう。
