Maple 7

何？

数式処理（＋グラフィックス）システム。 Mathematica の類だが最近はこちらのほうが人気があるようだ。 Waterloo Maple Inc. の商品。

購入

サイバネットシステム の Mapleホームページ で調べて Linux Single User 版を購入。

インストール

$ su
# mount /mnt/cdrom
# cd /mnt/cdrom/LinuxSingleUser
# ./INSTALL_SU_LINUX

   Maple 7 Linux Single User installation



 Enter the directory that you would like to install
 Maple 7 in or upgrade an existing
 installation.
 Installation directory (absolute path): [/usr/local/maple_su]
/usr/local/maple

 The directory /usr/local/maple does not exist. Do you want it created? (y/n)
y

Please enter your Serial Number:

 Maple will now install the base distribution.

 Installing binaries.

 Installation is complete.
 You may need to edit the scripts in the bin directory
 to configure Maple to run on your machine(s).

これで LaTeX に \includegraphics[...]{airy.eps} でインクルードできる。
